Am I getting crazy?
I entered the AVG site (www.grisoft.com/us/us_dwnl_free.php), filled out
the form, downloaded AVG free antivirus avg6698fu_free.exe program.
Run it and a small window asks if I want to install AVG 6: I say yes and
then... opens a new big window asking me where I want AceFTP3 to be
installed!
And if I go on it really installs AceFTP!
Where may I find AVG antivirus???

Sounds like you have some left-overs from an earlier installation in
your temp directory. Try a disk cleanup and delete all temp files,
then retry the AVG installation.

ACE is notorious for leaving crap behind. Clean out your temp folder or
extract AVG into a different folder and run it from there.

You are right!
Actually there was in the same temp folder where I run
avg6698fu_free.exe a "setup.exe" program which created the problem
(found with that wonderful prog named Registry Monitor by
www.sysinternals.com).
Deleting this program all went smoothly.
Thanks a lot for your hint!
