AVG Free Edition message

The software places a message at the bottom of every email received. The
message says the email was checked by AVG Anti-virus.

How do I turn this message off?

Open the program's options and UNcheck both the "certify" boxes. That
message is just advertising, as it can't be true.

Since you didn't mention the version number, the placement of the option
may differ.

I found it under 'Email Scanner' and 'Configure'. Thanks
