AVG email checking question

I just installed the free version of AVG on my PC a couple of days
ago. Yesterday, I sent an email to a friend and today there was a
response from her in my mailbox. When I opened it, there was only a
message that outgoing mail had been certified virus free. I haven't
seen this message from any other email I have sent since installing
AVG, so I'm not sure what this means. It certainly looked like my
friend was emailing me back, but there was no content, just the AVG
message.

What does this mean?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Your friend has sent you a message with no content (no written text )
probably in error ask them what it was they sent you?.

If you wish your email to have the AVG signature on the bottom of message
automatically
You will be using Outlook Express or I believe it also works in Outlook.
Open AVG CONTROL CENTRE
Select E-mail Scanner
Put tick in all the boxes including plugin
Select Advanced Settings if you wish to customise message
Select Certification
Put any additional text you wish on the signature
Click ok
Click ok

and that's it set up
Incoming mail will only show message when using Outlook.

She has nothing to say to you?

Thank you so much. I suspected that she sent a blank email, since she
seems to often have some inexplicable computer problem (translation:
user-error), but I thought I'd ask here to be sure.

LOL. That's entirely possible, but every time I talk to her, she asks
me if I got her email, so she's trying to say something, I just never
find out what!
