I have installed windows vista on my computer and AVG anti-malware. Since
installing vista I am getting a message in my Windows Security Center that
"windows did not find antivirus software on this computer." AVG seems to be
working fine as far as scanning my computer and my emails. Is this message
something I should be concerned with?

you need to be using the latest version of avg.

if already doing so, you can tell security center you have one that you manage.

Since AVG Anti-Malware is a new product, and it includes the AVG
Anti-Spyware and AVG Anti-Virus, I would not be too concerned, other than
the nuisance of the message.

You might go to the Grisoft site and ask if they know how to have Vista
recognize it. As I am not an owner of a Paid version, I can't get online
questions answered.

It would be helpful if you could post back should they provide an answer.

I too only have a free copy of AVG. Would you reccomend upgrading to
the paid version?
