My inbox is filled with text and HTML messages this morning as usual...
However, every single incoming mail message shows that it has an attachment
even if it doesn't. Same with the other PC here and it is regardless of
which e-mail account we are pulling (have 12 or so here...)
It sure is going to make finding a specific e-mail message in my archives
more difficult.
Started looking for the cause... and found it... Apparently, the new AVG
virus scanner option works really well, but Outlook Express thinks that the
"no virus" certification at the bottom of each incoming e-mail is an
attachment.
Only way to avoid the attachment icon is to *not* scan incoming e-mails...
Not a very good option indeed.
Anyone know a way to make this stop other than disabling incoming scans? If
not, hopefully a patch comes out real soon from one side or the other.
