AVG and DVD Region Killer

Since some here seem to promote Grisoft AVG :)... I installed AVG
yesterday on my machine and since then, DVD Region Killer (whose site
seems to have vanished) no longer worked. Uninstalling AVG did not help.
Restoring the registry as it was before the install, neither. I finally
had to restore my partition from backup (I always keep a backup of each
of my partitions) in order to get back Region Killer to work.
Anyone noticed compatibility problems or others difficulties with AVG?

What is the URL for "DVD Region Killer"?

Does "DVD Region Killer" contain spyware?

No, DVD Region Killer does not contain any spyware. Its site seems to
have disappeared, may be because this kind of program does not please
every body...I can email it privately to whoever is interested, it is
very useful and simple to use.
 
It could be that AVG found virii/trojans in "DVD Region Killer".

Seven mirror sites no longer have that file.
