Hi Greg,
I have used it for a while, but I swear, it's causing problems, like
freeze ups in other programs. What is the best one to just sit
there quietly, and not cause disruption in the puter?
Without more details, I couldn't really venture a guess with regards
to the problems you mention, but of course, I never really got along
very well with Win98SE. I will be happy to recommend NOD32 as a
very fine replacement though!
I started using NOD32 on a WinME system (lots of reason to complain
about WinME, but on that same computer, Win98SE was even worse, and
it was the original OS shipped with the machine!). In spite of all
the other problems I had with that old machine and WinME, NOD32 still
did its job admirably. I've since moved on to a much more powerful
and stable machine (with WinXP), and I'm still very happily using
NOD32. It's not free, but I certainly feel that it's well worth the
price!
