I get a message giving me the option of downloading this known threat
several times a day. Of course I want to block a harmful download...if
it is in fact harmful.

How would I get rid of this message?

P.S. I think I sent this message last Feb. But I took no action on the
answers because the message disappeared then. However it started up
again about two - three weeks ago.

P.P.S. I'd send a photo of the message as a JPG but I don't know how
to send attachments in Free Agent.

The easiest way to display a photo in a text group is to upload to your web
space and post the URL. In text groups, the attachments are stripped
anyway. (on most news providers)

If you are using Spybot S&D (sounds like you are) you need to select the
'immunise' option to 'silently block' instead of 'ask me about it'. How
exactly you do that depends on what version you are running.
