Hi, I have Avast and want to know how I can stop it from scanning some
files.
On the laptop I have netdog content monitor and ardamax installed to see
what the kids are doing on the computer. But Avast pops up and says its a
virus and the kids simply delete it. How can I stop it fron scanning them?

Right click the avast icon in the systray, select Program Settings >
Exclusions. See also Avast help, search for "exclusions".

Thanks I figured it now. When I put the file name in exclusions for some
reason it wont work but if I put in the asterix then it works eg. C:\program
files\netdog\*.exe

You're welcome, I'm glad that it's working for you.
