AVAST! Events in the log

What are all those entries?

Do you mean in the log viewer?.Unless you have had problems with avast
loading then the logs emergency , alert ,critical,error and warning are
usually empty as these are self analasys logs essentially.The log that
usually has many entries is the setup info log which records avast
startup,updates etc.
