Avast and Netscape/Mozilla

is anybody using Avast (Emailscanning) together with the Netscape
mailclient?
What about the "special" configuration of the Netsscape-/Mozilla
mailclient (URL&...instead of only username and password)? Does it work
with the mentioned mailclient(s) and with the GMX mailserver without
any(configuration-) problem?
