avant uninstall and outlook express

Hello,

I installed avant and found that it did not load web pages in my user
account so I uninstalled it. Now whenever I click on a link a link in
outlook express I get just a blank page. Anybody know what's going on?

Check your settings here:

Windows Explorer/Tools/Folder Options/File Types. Scroll down to
URL:HyperText Transfer Protocol/Advanced/Edit.

Under Application used to perform action it should read:
"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" -nohome

I executed the commands you suggested, restarted just for the sake of it,
and now my links open up properly in OE. Thanks! However, the file type
looks like

(NONE) URL:HyperText Transfer Protocol

and there are NO entries. Should I click on "New" and add the entry above?
or should I just leave it alone since everything seems to work?
