Is it possible to add pop ups that get through to a list in Avant so it
doesn't let it though next time?

Thanks I tried Proxomitron a couple of times in the past and never got on
with it. No fault of the program's though as I know loads of people
love it. I just found it stopped stuff I didn't want it to stop and it
took ages going through the options trying to find which option was doing
it.

To be honest there are not many pop ups that get by Avant so I can live
with it, if necessary. It would be nice to have the option to add a
pop up to it manually though.

Avant is THE best popup/popunder stopper I've ever used. It's much
quicker to loadup than IE and pages display much faster on my poor
dialup connection. It never occurred to me that someone might want to
see selected popups. Prox sounds like the best plan.

Some pop ups are necessary such as the one my online banking page uses.
However what I was meaning in the original post is that every now and
again Avant lets a pop up open that I don't want to see. Only happens
rarely but it would be nice to be able to add them to a list in Avant so
it doesn't allow it to open next time.

Some popups are necessary (depending on the site and what you are doing) ie
many sites use a popup window as part as a login routine ie popup to enter
user name and password etc....

For this I use the combination of both Avant and the PreSet scripts of
Proxomitron... I added the site to allow list on Proxomitron on my server
and use the quick on off button in AVant and of the quick ByPassing of
Proxomitron using the Proxy Server list... Doing this I haven't seen an
unwanted popup since.... :-)

If MYie2 or Prox won't work, you could always bookmark the specific
sites in IE or another browser and use Avant for regular browsing.
Prox is a bit intimidating, but it makes for time well invested for
such situations. I choose to use Avant for recreation and IE for
banking. I don't have Prox in the current setup.

I have yet to see a popup or popunder since I started using Avant.
It's only been a month or so though and I'm not a big browser really.
Freewares are the majority of my travels.
