Avant Browser closes automatically, can anyone help?

Whenever I use Avant Browser and use the middle scroll button to open
a link, it automically closes once I click to the address bar on any
open window. Does anyone know how or why this happens. Strangely
enough, this all started to happen once I got DSL, but how could one
affect the other? I'm confused. If anyone can help I'd appreciate
it, thanks.

I had a similar problem with Maxthon. It just dumped out for no apparent
reason. Also, it would crash on any Fusker site. I tracked it to an
include page between JavaScript tags. The include page, itself, had
consisted of include pages. Other IE front-ends work fine. I'm using
GreenBrowser at the moment, which seems to be the best of the lot.

I download the latest version and the problem stopped, atleast the one
site that caused it before. The download page labeled it 1.0.0168 but
after installed it the About Maxthon said it is version 1.0.0170
Unicode dated 7-15-04.
