What about Flash Peak SlimBrowser 3.81? I've used it for a few months, after suffering IE for years. SlimBrowser seems stable, offers tabbed browsing, and many other features. Do other people use it?

Really? I love this program. I use it at work and home. I donated
like $10 to the author because I liked it so much. It beats Smart
Explorer 6.0 (a commerical product) 10 times over. I like how the
latest version puts the "friendly" icon in the tabs on the bottom so I
can tell quickly what tab is Google, Yahoo, etc.

Lose HAIR to email.

To each their preferences. I've tried myie2 and avant and settled on
slimbrowser as the one I prefer.

Mozilla/Firebird blows everything away.

Mozilla/Firebird blows everything away.

Not true. IE still has a faster rendering engine. Firebird has an
aggravating "feature" and will open a new browser rather than open a new
tab. I guess it doesn't know it is a multi-tabbed browser yet.

Good News! there IS something better than Avant
Tried it, like Avant better.

Why do you like Avant better?
Is it just the icons?
If so you can get a skin that will look the way you want it too.

I figured you'd ask that, but it's been a while & I've tried others
like slimbrowser, crazy browser & firebird, so I don't really
remember.
Do you remember why you like myie2 better?
