Availability of Hibernate Power Scheme with Windows XP Upgrade

I have a Dell Inspiron 7500 running on Windows 2000
Professional that I would like to updgrade to Windows XP
Professional. When I upgrade will the Hibernate power
scheme still be available?

Hi,

WindowsXP supports hibernate as long as the drivers for the system do. For
laptops, it is critical that you obtain the proper drivers for the hardware
if it is not natively supported.
