This is a terrific piece of freeware but I thought I'd pass on a
little caution. I use a USB drive for occassionally backing up
critical files, keeping it off-line until needed and putting it
off-line immediately after making the back-up.

Lately my system (win2K) would say that the drive cannot be put off
line at the moment, even after a very long time. Turns out the drive
is being monitored by Ava Find and that;s what was keeping it from
being dismounted. I simply terminate Ava Find, dismount, then restart
Ava Find.

Thought this might help someone with this problem.

Cheers,
Larry

Thanks Larry, IMO this qualifies as a [VP] (valuable post).

The idea of a 'VP' tag isn't going to work. Generally, subject tags are
used to exclude, not include.
IOW, people who want to exclude certain information can filter those
subject tags which are added by conscientious posters.
Eventually, a 'VP' tag will become meaningless; Babya announcements
could be tagged 'VP'.

Yah *but*. . .

The [PL] tag is added as a filter so people can exclude these posts -
*but* I find it useful when searching the archives for PW info.
Eventually, a 'VP' tag will become meaningless; Babya announcements
could be tagged 'VP'.

Inappropriate usage. :) IMO the easiest way to test its usefulness is to
tag some posts - ISTM that it's worth trying for a bit. . .
