AutoUpdates disabled by Norton Internet Security

The process that Microsoft AntiSpyWare uses to update my
system with new virus defintions got flagged by Norton
Internet Security as a Spyware threat and has been
disabled.

Does anyone know how to get the Microsoft DNS process
working again?

From a post in the microsoft.private.security.spyware.appcompat NG :

" To allow updates on the internet when using Norton
Firewall:

Open Norton Internet Security
Click "Configure"
Click "Programs" tab
In manual program control section, ensure setting's for
MS Antispyware set for "permit all". "
