I have set my autoupdater weekly..and when i see now its
nor really updating.
My main window shows definitions are uptodate but date
and definitions are a month old.
Even i performed manual update...it checks and says
definitions are uptodate. Why it shows old definitions and
date in system suumary.

Thanks

It is probably something to do with the updates not synching up, try this:
Answer by Plun:
- Right click om MSAS icon in systray and choose shutdown
- Open Windows Explorer and go to Program files / MSAS
- Rename gcThreatAuditScanData.gcd to gcThreatAuditScanData.old
- Rename gcThreatAuditThreatData.gcd to gcThreatAuditThreatData.old
- Start MSAS and try menu file- check for updates.

Also it is not necessary to "Check for updates", MSAS checks this during
restart.
Verified and working.
