Hello,

I'm trying to figure out the correct settings to make an unattend
installation for Swiss German.

The reference guide made me think that those settings should
work:

Microsoft-Windows-International-Core-WinPE
SetupUILanguage: de-de
InputLocale: 2055:00000807
SystemLocale: 2055
UILanguage: 2055
UserLocale: 2055

However, when I start the setup, it shows me the setup screen
to enter the language and keyboard layout. Therefore, something
must be wrong with my settings (WillShowUI: OnError)

Unfortunately I didn't find a solution with google so far. Any
help would be very appreciated.

Regards,
/Ray

Raymond,

Since you are using the WAIK kit, is your intent to just create a light
touch unattend distributed via a copy and imagex apply or are u using the
BDD and WDS to deploy your vista images. The answer will depend on how you
are deploying vista.

Hello Bob

Actually, I'm creating the master installation as described in the document
"First Steps with Windows AIK", meaning I'm installing Vista from DVD
with the autounattend.xml. Once done, I'll do the sysprep stuff and copy
the master.wim to my network share for future use and installations.
(using diskpart, copy, imagex /apply).

I'm not using WDS (and unfortunately I don't know what BDD is. But
this probybly means, I'm not using it *g*).
