Autotext

I have a new gateway laptop with windows xp home installed. I installed Word 2000. When I go to Autotext to insert file path and name I get the words "file path and name" instead of the file path and name of the document I am working on. The same is true for "Page # of ________ Pages

Anyone have any ideas
