I'm not quite sure I follow, here. Let's start with the version of Word
involved?

OK, you created a toolbar. And did you save the toolbar in a particular
document or template? In your Normal.dot template?

What does the AutoText have to do with the toolbar? And where are the AutoTest
entries saved?

I get the feeling the problem is that the AutoText entries are displaying
differently when users insert them into their own documents? Are the AutoText
entries single words or entire paragraphs?

From the sound of it, the AutoText entries were not formatted with a unique
style name, but with something generic (such as Normal). This means that the
local style definition will take precedence. You'd need to create a style (or
styles) for the specific formatting you want, apply that to the text, then
create the AutoText entry.

Hi =?Utf-8?B?TW9kbw==?=,
saved the toolbar
in the normal.dot template, i learnt that from the Microsoft website for
sales under
"http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/results.aspx?Scope=TC,HP,HA,RC,FX
%2CES%2CEP%2CDC%2CXT&Query=sales+toolbars
" and i did exactly what was in the document, yes i'm using the normal style
as i had more difficulties when it was styled
Can you describe the difficulties you have when you've applied a specific
style, vs. when Normal style is applied?

Basically, you're going to HAVE to apply the formatting explicitly, in some
way. Word is designed to have styles in the target document override the
incoming style definitions, in the interest of generating consistent
formatting throughout a document. I worked on a project, once, in a word
processor where this was not the case, and it was extremely painful. So I
can really appreciate that Word does it this way...
