Hi!
I have a problem with our TS/citrix environment. We use
Office XP SR2 and have a normal.dot in the users
profiledirectory ..\application data\microsoft\templates\..

If the user is adding a autotext to the document
everything is OK. But if the user Clicks View, Heeder or
Footer and then tryes to add some autotext, the
autotextmenu is empty... The only way to insert autotext
in the heeder/footer is to click Insert, Autotext,
Autotext and so on.

Another problem is that the autotext isn't updated
automatically if the user moves the document to another
place in the directory. The user has to "click" F9 to
update to info.

Any advice?

Best regards
Ulf

This is normal behaviour. The autotext list shows the current paragraph
style entries - presumably your header has a header style with no autotext
entries defined in that style. If you know the autotext entry name, you can
type that name and press F3, or you can insert an autotext field in the
header (to allow for company address changes etc).

Many fields need to be updated manually - the macro at
http://www.gmayor.com/installing_macro.htm will do the trick.

Thanks a lot for the advice. There was no autotext's
specified in the header style.

Best Regards

You should be seeing the built-in entries for the Header and Footer styles.
Go to Insert | AutoText | AutoText and make sure you have "All active
templates" selected. If you do, it could be that Normal.dot has been
overwritten by a document (documents can't store AutoText); see
