Hi,

I use word 2000 and i would like to know how can i backup my personal
AutoText, in case of crash of my computer ?

for example :
i've created through Insert ->autoText a new text and add it to list of
autotext.
Like that i can use it when i want.

but if my computer crashs, i need to reinstall everything. so, i've lost my
personal autotext.
I would like to prevent it.

where all autotext are stored ?

tia,
Alain

Alain,

I believe that all Autotext entries are saved in the current template, so copying the template backs up the entries. I also like to print everything that I have created, both to document it and to have it just in case I have to recreate it. Select Autotext entries in the Print What drop-down list in the Print dialog box to do this

You can also copy Autotext entries from one template to another in the Organizer (available from the Styles dialog box or in the Templates dialog box)
