autosync notes from Outlook to Smartphone

I have converted my Palm treo device information to Outlook and see all the
notes on the Outlook note section. But when I autosync, the notes don't
transfer to my smartphone. Any ideas?
 
version of outlook? are you using activesync? do you have notes enabled for
syncing?
