I have posted this before but didn't get any responses, plus I have tried to
do further research and have come up with nothing

Sorry to be a pain but I'm really hoping someone knows how to fix (that is
if there is a fix) to this problem:

When I add an AutoShape, for example an oval, (using the Drawing Toolbar) -
I place the autoshape where I want it but when it is published to the
Net, depending on the monitor size the shape will not be where I need it to
be - is there a way of "locking" the shape so it will remain in the spot I
want?

I'm using Front Page 2002.

Thank you!

I did try putting the image in a table and then inserting a oval over the
part of the image I wanted to emphasize and it didn't move as much on
different monitors but still moved enough so it doesn't appear in the
correct position.

Thx.

What you are doing is using CSS Positioning, and as you see, it display
differently on different PC, etc. Use tables instead.

I have put the image in a table cell and the oval on top of the image -
what I'm I missing? Maybe I'm not understanding?

Thx

NS browsers have problems with images as table backgrounds. Can you provide
a URL to this page on the internet?

I figured it out - after fiddling with the table I realized my column width
was too wide for the image and as soon as I made the column width the same
as the image it worked - thanks for all your help and patience - couldn't
have done it without!

Thx,
