Autoshape conditional format

Hi,
I'm putting together an Excel training workbook for staff.

I'd like to format Autoshapes (lines etc.) to the same
level as cell contents through a Conditional Format like
condition event.

Example if in a cell you choose Y for help, any lines etc.
created for explanation would appear. If you have
completed a task correctly (target cell has correct
answer) lines etc. would disappear.

Is this possible?

TIA

Gerry,

It can be done, but it would (probably) need VBA code.

You would need to specify all of the conditions and results and this could
then be coded in.

Bob,
I feel that it will be too much for this exercise.

Perhaps MS programmers could someday consider that within
dialoque boxes as is the case with conditional cell
formatting. I would find it very useful!

Thanks,
Gerry

Yeah, but I think you are in a minority<vbg>. It's the first time I have
heard this request, whereas the plea for more than 3 CF conditions is
getting deafening.
