Okay, this has probably happened to us all...one day, you
type a search into the address bar, thinking that you are
going to get a return from autosearch.msn.com. Instead
its some website that has nothing to do with what you
searched for and is named joeblowsearch.com. Well, that
is exactly what happened to me one day. So, I found what
was accidentally installed, and simply uninstalled it.
Well, that didn't do the trick. Now, everytime that I
try to search from the address bar, I get a DNS error, as
if I was trying to type in an address instead of a
search. I tried the fix on Knowledge Base, but it
doesn't work. I've tried manually deleting the registry
keys, and retyping them myself to the T as they are on
Knowledge Base, but it still doesn't work. I know it's
not the end of the world if I can't fix it, but searching
from the address bar these days is like second nature.
Can anyone help?!?! Reply here, or to
(e-mail address removed). I appreciate any help
whatsoever!!
