Has anyone run into this? We are using an OLD version of Office.. trying to
upgrade but need to justify. When creating an Autorun in 2002, its slowing
down the custom animation. Has this been fixed in newer versions?
Thank you!

I recall something like this happening to me a while ago (although I don't
remember getting a dialog stating that there was corruption - I'd just open
files and find out that content was missing). These were also being worked on
Macs as well as PCs.

I don't know if it will help you, but I found that I had to open any files
that had been created in 2007 first in 2003 (we were saving them backwards
compatible at the time because not everyone had upgraded to 2007) and save it
in 2003. Then when I opened it in 2007 the slides were intact.

The version of PPT is 11.0.5529.0

1. use the uptodate version of powerpoint 2007 to help you create
powerpoint presentations, the animations and transitions effect
between every slides is more fluent.
2. convert your presentation which create by powerpoint 2002 to video
format, then it can be avoid the animation problems.
