autorun.inf and USB thumb drive

I have the following autorun.inf file on my USB drive
(key chain):

[autorun]
Open=AutoShare.bat


AutoShare.bat is just 1 line:

net share G=G:


Any idea why this doesn't work (nothing happens)?
TweakUI reports that AutoPlay is enabled on removable
drives.
