I just got a new computer with XP home version OS. I've had no problem installing any of my old programs until I got to WordPerfect Suite 8. I put the CD in and autorun does not "pop up" as with other programs, and when I go in and manually select autorun.exe, I get the above message. I know nothing is wrong with CD, having tested it in 2 other computers, and there's apparently nothing wrong with CD/DVD drive, having installed several other programs from CD withou a hitch. I'm ready to scream!!! Any help please.

Try running the software in Compatibility Mode may enable this software to
function properly.

If you right click on any .exe file for any program,
click properties, and click the Compatibility tab you will have the option
to change how XP runs it. You can choose from the OS that XP runs like and
the screen size and resolution for each individual program.

This also works when installing programs. Just do the same with the
install.exe file for the desired program.
