Autorotate feature in XP?

When downloading photos, Photoshop will automatically rotate pictures taken
vertically. However, Windows does not do this. Is there an easy way to get
Windows to autorotate the vertical pictures?

Windows does not open pictures. It uses some application to open and view
the pictures.

Perhaps you are thinking of Windows Picture and Fax Viewer?

If so, no autorotate available.

That has auto-rotate functionality

I found that photoupright worked well in automatically rotating my pictures
Windows Picture and Fax Viewer will now view the images correctly.
