AutoReply configuration?

I have users turning on the Out-of-Office rules to forward
and AutoReply. Because of all the spam and viruses, I've
had my users create rules to forward only from members of
the company directory and their personal contacts. That
fixes the forwarding, but there doesn't seem to be any way
to configure AutoReply to reply only to members of a
particular list. Am I missing something?

Email address harvesting engines often send out bogus
emails. If the email gets responded to, the responder gets
added to a list that is sold to every spammer in the
world. So turning on AutoReply causes several weeks of
extremely elevated spam for each user.

Is there a way to set AutoReply to only reply to internal
company emails?
 
By default Exchange is configured to only send internally, you have to
explicitly switch this on to get it out on the internet.
