I created a MS Word template, with form fields. I want the data (ex: address info)that is entered in one form field to autopopulate into another field (or insertion point) on the document. That way, I do not have to enter the address 2 times on the document. I also want be able to do this with other address fields, number fields, etc.
How do I do that? I tried cross-referencing & bookmarks, to no avail.

Monica,

Select the first instance of data and bookmark it (e.g., select the address,
Insert>Bookmark, name it Address). In the second and subsequent location
insert a REF field (e.g., { REF Address } where { } is entered with
CTRL+F9).

Every form field has a built-in bookmark. For text form fields, the
bookmarks are by default Text1, Text2, etc., in order of creation, but you
can change the bookmark in the Form Field Options dialog. Where you want the
text from the form field repeated, insert a cross-reference (*not* a form
field) to the "Bookmark text" of the given bookmark. Be sure to check the
"Calculate on exit" box in Form Field Options so the cross-reference will
update automatically.
