Autoplayable audio file

Is there an utility to make an audio file which is able to play by itself, I
mean that it can be played without using a player?

Search for wav2exe. It is the only tool I've ever seen that does this. It is
an MS-DOS program. I don't remember if it's freeware or shareware. Sorry if
it is OT.
