Autoplay revisited

Thank you for all your suggestions. However, I still
have a problem. While the autoplay now does do
something - it just brings up the files listing in
explorer. It does not automatically run an audio cd, nor
does it automatically run the autorun.inf file. Also the
Autofix.exe program came up with the message that whilst
there was a problem, it could not fix it. I do remember
at some stage in the dim past saying 'don't bother me
again' when it asked what I wanted to do when it started
a CD. Perhaps this is the problem - it has its nose out
of joint.

.Go to Windows XP Expert Zone site and download Tweak UI
a small program that lets you set drives for Auto-Play.
