Hi, All!
Some days ago I was trying to clarify question about "Autoplay" function in
Win XP Home, but unfortunately not receive any answer. My problem is:

In spite of this function (Autoplay) is chosen in properties of CD & DVD
drive after inserting disks in these drives no any offers to Explore the
disk by Explorer, to play by WIN Media etc. appear. The same problem was
with my laptop about one year ago, but it disappeared by itself. I have
laptop Compaq Presario 2700 EA with two CD-RW and DVD drives. CD-RW drive is
Future Bay system, so I could change It with 3'1/2 drive.

I heard that Win XP has the feature of automatic disabling autoplay function
if the user in some period ignore system offers, is it true?

Please help to deside my problem!

Marinero.

Its not completely clear just what you have set but. In XP you have to
set auto play for each type of disc. There is a drop down list for data,
video, music, photos, ect and there is a small easily overlooked radio
button at the top and bottom of that actions window too make sure you
have checked the right box.

Yes, autoplay is set for all type of disks
