Hi there

I'm looking for a freeware tray utility that will interrogate my CDs as I
insert them and load the files into the appropriate program (of my choice) a
la Windows XP.

BAsically, I've got a Win98 PC that I use for Audio CDs, DVDs, MP3s and DivX
files and I'd just like it to cue the files up and play them as soon as I
insert the CD without me having to open the various programs (CD-Player,
PowereDVD, Winamp etc).

Thanks in advance for pointing me in the right direction!

Audio CDs should open CD Player, Windows media player, WinAmp or
whatever automagically by default. For the others, you can add an
autorun.inf file to the cd before you burn it to point to a file or
program to make the CD launch. Karen Kenworthy has a nice utility
called Autorun.inf Editor v1.4 to simplify the process and there are
many others available for free.
