I am using win 2000 pro and the autoplay function has stopped working. Is there a place where it can be reanabled, or will I have to reinstall the OS(I hope not). The function was working fine last week. I have deleted some programs since then. Any help would be appreciated. I have tried to play a game and it would not start, so I went into my computer and brought up the properties, then I checked the cd in the drive for the autostart icon. I clicked it and the game opening screen started but the game would not. When I put in a cd to listen to music it does not autoplay. If I doulble clickthe icon in My Computer it starts ok.
