I have several common Excel 2003 workbook files (and plan
to have similar future files) that I want to import into
an Access 2003 database table. My database table is an
existing one with many records already in it. It also has
a "Job ID" field with an AutoNumber format. I created
a "Job ID" field in the Excel worksheet but do not have
anything shown in that field because I wanted Access to
create a unique number through AutoNumber. When I import
the worksheet the "Job ID" field is blank. How can I get
Access to create that AutoNumber?
