AutoNumber - Urgent Help Need

Hi everyone,

I am designing a form which contains an auto number field.
The value of the field is not changed by record but by date.

For example:

Day1, the user enters 15 records, then the field will have
1 for 15 records.

Day2, the user enters 0 reocrds.

Day3, the user enters 10 records, then the field will have
2 for 10 records.

Day4, the user enters 1 record, then the field will have 3
for 1 record.

Any help will be appreciated.

I just found a tip that probably works for you. Its on Allen Browne's Access
tips website at http://members.iinet.net.au/~allenbrowne/ser-40.html where
he addresses this exact issue, explains the cause, and provides code to
determine it and fix it.
