Autonumber not working

The autonumbers in your table most likely have been
corrupted. Examine your data and look for discontinuities
or abnormalities. You may be able to delete the problem
records or you may have to duplicate the table structure
and import the data from the original table.

When the data attempts to save, there is a "duplicate"
error and it is not saved. It appears that the autonumber
is not working (when I look, it is still zero). The
autonumber is the key.
