AutoNumber Key

How do I delete all records from a table that is using
AutoNumber as a primary Key.

I want to start with autonumber 1.

Hi there, yeah theres a simple answer to this. Firstly Delete all the records in the table. Then go Tools > Database Utilities > Compact and Repair Database. This will reset the Autonumber to 1

One problem with that. If you installed Jet 4.0 SP 4 or
higher (like I did stupidly) and have Access 2002 or
higher, the compacting of the database will not reset the
autonumber. It's a bug. check out the KB:
