Currently my organization has outsourced our e-mail. We our planning to move
to exchange. I am trying to automated the process as much as possible. Is it
possible to point outlook to a different e-mail server using AD or a script
and what is the best way to move the actual e-mail with out having to go to
each computer and create .pst file or is the that the best way to move the
e-mails.

Thanks,

I forgot to include that we are using outlook 2003 we have windows 2003
domain server and we will be using exchange 2003 hope that helps.

Thanks again,

What are you using now? In the meantime, take a look at the tools in the Office Resource Kit, particularly the Custom Maintenance Wizard.

Hi Mark,

My understanding of the issue is: You clients are about to use a new Exchange
server, so you are planning to point Outlook to the new server automatically. If I
have misunderstood anything, please let me know.

I suggest you use "Custom Maintenance Wizard" of "Office 2003 resource kit" to
achieve this purpose. For more information and detail steps, please refer to:
