Automating post-scan processing

I scan negatives and slides using a CanoScan D2400U flatbed scanner. For
nearly all images, I use Photoshop LE Image, Adjust, Auto levels at 48 bits,
then convert to 24 bits, and use Unsharp Mask 4 times at different
settings. Is there any way I can automate this process and assign it, say,
to a function key, or some other hot key? I cannot see anything in the
menus, or in the help screens or manuals, but I'm sure there must be some
easy way of doing this that's staring me in the face.
(I also have Photoshop Elements, but prefer to use LE to get the initial
benefits of autolevels at 48 bits.)

TIA

Hmm, if you had full Photoshop, you could use Actions.

I'd suggest you have a poke around at the Photoshop LE forum on the
Adobe forum site (www.adobeforums.com and scroll down to select the
Photoshop Limited Edition forum).
