Does anyone know? Is it possible to program Access to
open a website, enter a user name and password, navigate
to a certain part of the site, enter some information
(the parameters will be the same, the date will be the
only thing that changes) and download the information.
It seems like a long shot to me, but I have been suprised
as to what the program has been able to do for me in the
past. If someone can please tell me if this is possible
that would be great, if greatly influences the design of
the database that I am undertaking. If it is possible,
would someone be willing to get me started on the VBS
code so that I can put this highly powerful (hopefully)
function to use.

Thank you,
CPiper

Hi,

I'm fairly sure it's possible but I don't know the details. For
starters, see if http://www.mvps.org/access/modules/mdl0037.htm
gives what you need.

Otherwise, I guess you'd need to use the Microsoft Web Browser control
on an Access form and write VBA to make it do what you want. Searching
for
automation vba "web browser control"
at google.com and groups.google.com should find something useful
