Automatically updating function results

When I type a function in one cell, and copy it across to other cells, the values in the other cells are wrong. If I click on each cell in turn, click into the function bar, and press enter, then the value updates to the correct value. This is really long winded! Is there a way to turn on automatic updating?

Hi Poppy

It sounds as though your automatic calculation is set to Manual.
Go to
Tools=>Options=>Calculation and set it to Automatic

Yes,

Goto the tools menu

then options

click on the Calculation tab and check the Automatic button.
