On our new terminal server we have 80 users. Many of the users are
completely computer illiterate, and dont understand the process of
logging off correctly. I would love to find a way to send an automated
message to each user when their connection status becomes
"disconnected". if anyone has any idea how to do this, i have no
problem writing a script to take care of this....
the main problem with setting the group policy to log the person off
automatically if they become disconnected is that these are people at
point of sale stations. if they are in the middle of posting a sales
batch and something happens where they get disconnected due to power
outage or something like that, we cant have the batches be killed. a
simple message warning the person and reminding them how to log off
correctly is the best option we can think of...but are a little unsure
as to how to accomplish this task. any help anyone can offer would be
greatly appreciated
