Automatically selecting a Link

Is there a way to automatically click an existing link that is on your page.
Say by using the onload statement?

In this case, the link is a popup.

Have you considered just making a place on your home page for important announcements, etc. This way
folks will always see it and you don't have to be concerned about people running Windows SP2 or
other popups stopper applications.
