Automatically directing email to specific folder

I retrieve email from three addresses into my outlook. How
can I set outlook up so email that was sent to address1
goes to an address1 inbox, email sent to address2 goes to
address2 inbox, etc.? I've looked at the filters and
direct under Help, but those terms are not used the way
I'm thinking here.

Set up seperate folders, off the Inbox.
Create a rule to move msgs sent to A to folder A etc
